Incessant rains have been lashing Warangal district for the past three days and brought the normal life to a standstill. The impact of rains was heavy in district headquarters
where the low-lying areas were inundated, while main roads were covered with thick sheets of rain water hindering the vehicular traffic. Chinna Waddepally tank located in Hanmakonda was breached as the tank received huge inflows. As a result, waters entered the neighboring HM Colony and residents had to move to safer places. Similarly, the rain waters inundated Ekasila Park, Hanmakonda Bus Stand, TV Tower Colony, Shiva Nagar, Pochamma Maidan, NTR Colony and others causing severe hardships to the residents.
