India took an unassailable 2-0 lead with a match to go in the ODI series against England by winning the second ODI by 15 runs. Yuvraj Singh scored a career best 150 and put together a 256-run stand for the fourth wicket with MS Dhoni (134) which rescued India from a precarious 25 for three.
India posted a mammoth total of 381 runs which is very difficult to chase for any opposition under lights. But, given the smaller dimensions of the ground and due factor there is a great chance for England to pull off a famous win. England were always behind the eight ball and got close towards the end thanks a brilliant century by their skipper Eoin Morgan (102).
Many records tumbled as both teams posed a batting feast. India has topped the list for scoring most 350-plus totals for any team in ODIs with 23 Instances as such, going past South Africa's 22 instances. India have never lost an ODI after scoring 350-plus in an innings in an ODI.
India's score of 381 is the highest by a team in ODIs after losing the first three wickets for less than 25 runs. The previous highest was 368 for five by Australia against Sri Lanka at the SCG in 2006. 341 runs added by India's number four and below is the most in an ODI bettering 302 by New Zealand against Sri Lanka in Dunedin in 2015.
