Bollywood actor Salman Khan came out in support of protesting students of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and said that the newly-appointed chairman, Gajendra Chauhan should listen to them.
The 49-year-old actor made the comments in Mumbai during the promotion of his movie 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Lately, dignitaries from the Bollywood also expressed their discomfort at the appointment of Chauhan and supported the cause of the students. Many have said that Chauhan should voluntarily resign if the students do not want him. The students, who have been boycotting classes and protesting since June 14, have vowed to continue their protest till Chauhan is removed.
