Creative director Krishna Vamsi worked on 'Raithu' script for years and pinned his hopes on canning the film with Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna as male lead. On the other hand, senior director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao worked on 'Aditya 369' sequel for decades. 

Also, three writers are seriously penning the script of NTR's biopic for Balakrishna. Instead of giving nod to any of these projects, Balakrishna has reportedly agreed to work with director Puri Jagannadh.

Other filmmakers, who are waiting for Balakrishna's nod, may have been annoyed with Balakrishna and Puri's combo.
